Highlights

Overview

Bardia National Park is one of Nepal’s best-kept secret destinations. Situated in the Terai region it is Nepal’s biggest national park with 968 km2 of the wild area consisting of a dense forest of Saal backwoods, meadow, savannah, and riverine woodland. On the west side, it is touched by the Karnali River and it’s cut up by the Babai River in the Bardiya District. The foot of the Siwalik Hills denotes the northern limit of Bradiya National Park. It’s not crowded with visitors and there are amazing chances to spot endangered species of natural life. The main attraction of Bardia is the Bengal tiger. The tiger population is gradually expanding and tallies around 60 in number. Bardia is also a habitat for the wild Asian elephant and the more prominent one-horned rhinoceros. The surrounding area is encompassed by untainted towns and fields occupied by an indigenous ethnic gathering named the ‘Tharu’ who have their own extraordinary dialect, traditions, and customs. In the event that you truly need to appreciate Bardia, don’t be in a lot of a surge. We encourage you to remain no less than 4 to 5 days to find Bardia National Park in various ways and it will build your chances to see the untamed life.
