We can enjoy magnificent views of the Himalayas including the Mt. Everest and Kanchanjanga and, many more peaks during an hour's flight. At the airport, we will be welcomed by a representative GNT, who will take us to our hotel. Today, we will visit Rinpung Dzong which was built in mid of the 17th century and now houses the district Monastic Body and government administrative offices of Paro Dzongkhag. After breakfast, we hike about 5 hours to Taktsang Monastery, The monastery is located 10 kilometers from the Paro Bhutan's most famous monastery situated at 3,120 meters. Guru Rinpoche is said to have flown on the back of a tigress to meditate in a cave where Taktsang Monastery now stands. located about halfway up the mountain. After lunch explores the monastery, we hike down to the valley. This afternoon, we will drive to Thimphu, overnight at night.
After breakfast, we visit Memorial Chorten nunnery temple, mini zoo, Today, we also visit other landmarks of Thimphu including the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Bhutanese traditional painting school, folk heritage museum, the majestic Tashichho Dzong and the traditional paper factory.
