You arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport. Glacier Nepal treks representative welcomes you at the airport and takes you to the hotel by privet vehicle. After a short rest, You will meet the guide at our office. you may have some questions about trekking he will give you an answer to the question. Overnight at the hotel.
Exploring Kathmandu Sightseeing Points – Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square. evening some paperwork and your trekking guide will check your gear and outfit.
It’s about 35 min flight from Kathmandu. You will meet our staff at Lukla airport. you have breakfast at Lukla. Now we are ready to start our trek. It is downhill until Thadekoshi you will see the beautiful view of mt. Kusum Kanguru now we walk next to Dudh Kosi river up to Phakding. Overnight at Phakding.
After breakfast, we start trekking before reaching the banker you can see the beautiful view of mt Thamserku. Today we enter Sagarmatha ( Everest Nepali name) national park. After crossing the several times suspension bridge we climb up we will see the first view of Mt. Everest. If you get lucky you may see a red panda before reaching the Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Namche bazaar is a gateway to Everest and the biggest village in this region. We hike to the Everest view hotel to acclimatize and to see the spectacular view of mt Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam Nuptse, and many other peaks. after heading back to Namche you can also visit the Sagarmatha national park head office, sherpa museum, and market, some cafés show movies about Everest and sherpas overnight at Namche bazaar.
After breakfast at the hotel. today we walk up to the Thamo through the terraced field and forest, We also can visit the Khari gompa in Thamo in this gompa chance to meet nuns and monks. From Thhamo we need to climb up to Thame village then we have lunch at Thame. If nice weather still we can see the views of Thamserku, Kusum Kanguru, and Kangtenga.Overnight stay at Thame.
After breakfast at the hotel. we trek to the Kwande base camp. It takes 4-5 hours up to the Kwangde peak base camp. The trail is gradually up all the way to Kangde peak base camp on the way we pass through the alpine forest and terraced field to reach the camping site where is the Kwangde base camp. we sleep in the tent. Overnight at Kwwangde peak base camp.
After breakfast at the base camp, today is our acclimatization day. We give training for climbing and doing easy hiking/ climbing near Kwangde base camp that is good for acclimatization. Overnight stay at Kwangde base camp.
After breakfast at base camp, today we trek to Kangde high camp. It takes 4-5 hours to reach the high camp the trail is uphill and most of the time covered with snow and ice. So we need to use the crampons finally we reach the camping site. Where is our sherpa set up the camps. We need to check our climbing gears and health conditions for the summit. Overnight stay at high camp.
Too early breakfast at high camp and start early to reach the summit of Kwangde peak. It can be strong in the afternoon time problems for us to reach the summit. We will pass technical challenges and reach the summit of Kwangde peak. From the top, we can see views of Mt.Makalu, Mt.Everest, Cho Oyu, Rolwaling ranges, and Mt.Lhotse.We spend a short time at the summit then we descend to the same route back to Kwangde base camp.
After breakfast at the base camp, after our successful summit of Kwangde peak, today our journey to Namche Bazaar descending through alpine forest, terraced field, Thame and to reach the Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.
Today is the last day of trekking, it steeps downhill until the Dudh Kosi river. A passing couple of suspension bridges we exit Sagarmatha national park. Keep walking down to Thadekosi, this is the lowest point of the Everest base camp trek. then the ascent to Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.
After having breakfast, fly back to Kathmandu. Take you to the hotel. After a shower, you can visit Thamel for shopping. In the evening we have a farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural dance. Overnight at the hotel
This is your final day in Nepal. Glacier Nepal treks representative will drop you at Tribhuwan international airport by privet vehicle. Home sweet home.
