All the way to the laps of fascinating Annapurna
The mystic mountains, beautiful landscapes, extraordinary combination of natural and cultural heritages make this trek to the lap of one of the world’s tallest mountains, Annapurna (8091 m) a lifetime memory. Annapurna Base Camp is the most visited trekking destination among the native and foreign trekkers that come to Nepal. The trekkers have choice to take the common route to Annapurna Base Camp or the optional route to Annapurna Sanctuary to form the trip a bit extended one. The magnificent views of mountains together with Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail peak), the attractive natural vegetations and cultural diversity make Annapurna Base Camp trek an interesting journey to be cherished throughout the life.
This trek is of moderate difficulty because the trekkers have to walk for 6-7 hours per day on the normal trekking trails. However, ascending to the base camp could be a bit physically tight. Therefore, the trekkers should make themselves aware and alert concerning their fitness and health condition.
The Autumn and Spring seasons are the best time to do Annapurna Base Camp trek. The monsoon season isn’t typically preferred due to unfavorable conditions for stunning views and mountain trails. But still, some days during the summer (mostly June) are also favorable times to explore the wonder of Annapurna Conservation Area.
